A Family Favorite

Even with the emergence of high-tech options, board games have remained a popular form of family entertainment, as has been the case since the first American “board” game was introduced in 1843. They offer stress-free fun at a low cost, and allow people to change play times and places to meet their schedules. Also, with over 160 years of history, board games have become a part of our culture. Part of our childhood can be defined by the games we played. An instant bond is established when we come across someone who owned and played the same games we did. Many of us can remember a time when we excitedly blurted out “I had that game too!”
